The extreme heat advisory will remain in effect for today. Indoor recess and PE classes will be strongly advised. There will be no outdoor high exertion activities taking place (for PE/band). For all after-school athletics events, no outdoor activities will begin until 6 p.m. (however, indoor activities can take place).
As of now, the Strathmore High and Granite Hills High football games will be played as scheduled. The JV game at Strathmore will start at 6 p.m. with an 8 p.m. start for varsity. The Granite Hills game will start at 8 p.m.
