NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Porterville Unified School District will hold a public hearing, pursuant to Education Code Section 60119, on the subject of funds received under the Pupil Textbook and Instructional Materials Incentive Program, Grades K-12, and/or funds for Instructional Materials from any state source.
The public hearing will be held at a regular meeting of the Porterville Unified School Governing Board on Thursday, August 24, 2017. The board meeting starts at 4:30 p.m. at the following location:

The Porterville Unified School District Governing Board is required to make a determination as to whether each pupil in each school in the school district has sufficient textbooks or instructional materials or both, in each subject that is consistent with the content and cycles of the curriculum framework adopted by the State Board.
