Students from non-PUSD feeder schools will participate in the showcase next Monday (Nov. 2) from 9:30 a.m. to 11:10 a.m. while PUSD eighth graders will participate next Tuesday (Nov. 3), also from 9:30 a.m. to 11:10 a.m.
The session on Wednesday (Nov. 4) from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. is open to the public, free of charge, for anyone wishing to learn more about Pathways.
“We are very proud to showcase our high school pathways options to the eighth graders and families of the Porterville community,” PUSD Director of Student Pathways Cindy Brown said. “The PUSD Pathways offer college prep and hands-on career-themed learning, exposing our students early to real-world educational experiences.”
PUSD will be accepting online applications from students for Pathways enrollment for the 2016-17 school year on November 3.
