At their meeting of October 10, 2019, the Governing Board of Trustees for the Porterville Unified School District announced a vacancy on the Governing Board left by the recent passing of Mrs. Sharon Gill. The Governing Board took action to fill the vacancy by appointment. The Governing Board will accept applications from anyone interested in filling this vacancy and who meets the legal requirements for serving on a Governing Board for a public school district.
Applications may be obtained by contacting the Office of the Superintendent, Porterville Unified School District, 600 West Grand Avenue, 793-2455. The deadline for returning completed applications to the Office of the Superintendent is October 18, 2019, at 5:00 p.m. Applicants should be prepared to interview in person or via telephone the week of October 21st.
